Summer Shrimp

Fresh, tasty, perfect for a drink with friends during summer time.

1 zucchini
5 or 6 surimi (artificial crab) sticks
24 small Shrimp
24 small skewers or tooth picks

Happy Vines Sauvignon Blanc will perfectly enhance this dish with its crisp, fresh and well-balanced exotic fruits and mineral notes.


Wash the (unpeeled) zucchini and cut into ¼ inch slices. Then cut each slice in half to create half moon shapes.

Cut the surimi (artificial crab) sticks into ½ inch slices.

Place shrimp on paper towel to absorb water and coat both sides of shrimp with paprika.

Put a drop of mayonnaise on each zucchini slice, add the surimi in the center and place a shrimp on top. Spear each creation with a toothpick or small skewer.

Chill in the refrigerator prior to serving.
